(01) The problem
A charter operator paid double-digit commissions on every booking that came through aggregator platforms. They needed their own direct channel — trips, pricing, availability requests — trustworthy enough that tourists would book a few-hundred-euro trip from it.
(02) What I did
- 01
Mapped the booking journey with the operator: trip types, seasons, group sizes, deposit rules — then designed the site around the actual sales conversation.
- 02
Built a fast, photography-led site with per-trip pages and a structured booking request flow feeding straight into their phone workflow.
- 03
Handled domain, DNS, SSL and deployment — the operator owns everything, no agency lock-in.
(03) The outcome
Direct bookings now bypass platform commissions entirely.
Request-to-confirmation flow matches how the crew actually works (WhatsApp-first).
Site loads fast on marina 4G — where the actual booking decisions happen.
